|Rear Terrace, Withdean, Brighton|
The existing concrete terrace of this property has become very weathered with structural metalwork rusting heavily and cracking the edges of the concrete slab.
A slightly larger and better proportioned terrace has been proposed that includes improved garden access, and with careful design and economic excavation the addition of a useful sunroom and dry storage space beneath.
With the garden access improved and by using a clear glass balustrade a brighter interior is attained with more daylight entering the house, also an improved vista of the Withdean Valley is achieved.
